This beautiful four acre lake is set in a ten acre estate and is a secluded and secure venue which caters for a maximum of five anglers per week, licensed for day and night fishing where no permits are required.

This is the perfect destination for first timers to France, novice or well seasoned anglers. You can be assured of a very warm and friendly welcome at a venue with superb facilities and great fishing.
The venue also includes a fully contained two bedroom Gite overlooking the lake, which can be hired and is ideal for anglers bringing their family, friends and partners.
The Lake:Etang de Planchon is a beautiful and secure four acre lake set in ten acres of tranquil countryside. The lake surrounding is mainly laid to lawn with an area of woodland and has stunning views through the valley.
The Lake is fed by two streams and two natural springs which provide good water levels all year round. It has the classification of a fish farm due to the very high water quality and optimum temperatures encouraging incredible growth rates. Fishing is permitted day and night, maximum limit of 5 anglers with 3 rods each. The lake has an average depth of 5 foot and has an elongated 'S' shaped island set down the middle producing features to cast to. The lake has 6 spacious swims for choice, 5 swims maximum will be used at any one time, 2 of which have been designed as double swims. Bait boats are allowed on the lake and can be hired on site. Hi I have a house at St Hilaire La trielle and visit often, I am looking for some decent day ticket fishing, I see from the previous post you do day tickets, can I ask how much per 24 Hrs?

The prices for day ticket fishing are as follows:
1 day 25 Euros
1 day and 1 night 40 EurosIf you also need to hire equipment:
1 day 30 Euros
1 day and night 45 EurosIf you hire equipment you will still need to supply your own end tackle.
This is subject to availability and you would need to ring in advance to ensure there is space on the lake.
Stephen Sillet has not contacted me as yet but hopefully he will see the thread and give you a shout.
The lake is a small intimate venue and there will always be someone onsite if you want the company.
